Federal law limits contributions to $2,400 per individual for the primary and $2,400 per individual for the general election, so an individual can contribute a sum total of $4,800. Campaign contributions are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation,  and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200.  

Federal law prohibits contributions to the campaign from:

• The general treasury funds of corporations, labor organizations, or national banks (including corporate or other business entity credit cards)
• Any person contributing from another person's fund
• Foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status
• Government contractors
